
Being refused credit card be an embarrassing and sometimes annoying occurance, particularly when the potential lender never gives an explanation as to why you have been refused.
If you have been refused under the Data Protection Act you can write to the credit rating agencies (Equifax and Experian), enclosing a self addressed envelope and cheque for £2 to both, asking for a copy of your credit report.
